It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor (Elna) Keating, (nee Sorbara) in her 85th year. She was the beloved wife of Robert Keating, they would be married 65 years this year. She was dear mother of Michael (Debbie), Paul (Dawn), Kenneth Keating, also the daughter she never had, her niece Ann Croft (Boyle). She will be missed by her beloved grandchildren who meant the world to her, Kyle, Jason, Elna, Steven, Brenden and Alannah and great grandson Carter. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister Nancy(Gino) Tersigni and sister-in laws Mary Nadalin and Kay Sorbara.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Friday, February 18th, 2022 from 6:00-9:00pm. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance using www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com to attend the visitation or funeral. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place. A funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church (98 Alice St., Guelph, Ontario N1E 2Z8) on Saturday, February 19th at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Marymount Cemetery.
