After a courageous battle with cancer Butch passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph on August 10, 2023, in his 76th year.
Proud father of Melanie (Doug). Cherished brother of Bill (Cookie), Gary (Janice), Mary Weatherston, Bob, Linda (Pete) Drexler, Joyce (Randy) and Debby. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Mary (Peacock) Kemp, brothers Brian and Sidney and stepson Tim McCann. Loved by many nieces and nephews, stepfamily, and friends. Special thanks to Chase.
Butch was a loving and generous soul who always helped people in need. If you ever had the opportunity to meet Butch his way of story telling left a lasting impression. Butch’s passions included music, movies, fishing, and he was a “genius gamer”.
We would like to thank the nursing staff on the 4th floor at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre. We will all miss Butch’s unique character; he was one of a kind.
Friends will be received at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
