At the age of 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre with Melissa and Yvonne by her side.
Lore was born in Heilbronn, Germany. Lore was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Bill (2020). She leaves her daughter Yvonne Paterson and granddaughter Melissa Paterson. She will be sadly missed, especially her energy and spirit, and her loving hugs and kisses.
Lore immigrated to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1951. She first worked in the garment industry when she arrived. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her daughter and granddaughter. She later worked as a clerk for The Bay until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, collecting porcelain dolls, and travelling with her husband Bill.
A drop-in Celebration of Life will take place at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 5-7 pm.
Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Heath Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lore Kemp in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
