Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Scheurer). Proud father of Rolf (Janet) and the late John William (1981). Jacob was a member of Speed Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 180 G.R.C. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. with a Masonic service at 11:15 a.m. and a Memorial Service officiated by Father Dennis Noon at 11:30 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the Guelph General Hospital for their kind, caring ways toward Jacob and also to the CCAC and Bayshore nurses for their extraordinary assistance while he was at home.
