Audrey Elizabeth Knight (nee Croucher)

Born March 26, 1929, London, UK.

During WWII Audrey was a trained telegraphist at the General Post Office in London.

In 1946 Audrey served in the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRENS) at Arbroath, Scotland, and later trained as a nurse.

In 1950 she married Daniel J. Knight, and this year (2023) they celebrated their 73rd anniversary.

She worked extensively at the University of Guelph in the 1970s and 80s. Audrey achieved Grade 9 in singing, and taught many local Guelph musicians voice and piano.

She will be lovingly remembered; she is survived by her husband, three children (Gary, Kim, David), two Grandchildren (Jennifer and Amie), and five Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at the Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street , Guelph on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  

In lieu of flowers, any contribution you can make to St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre (Guelph) or a charity of one's choice would be most appreciated.
