KUBUSCH, Waltraud Rosalie

Posted

Kubusch Waltraud MM

Went home to be with her Lord peacefully in the early morning of April 9, 2020, at Guelph General Hospital.

Waltraud was born in Germany on October 1, 1935.  She was a devoted and beloved wife of Peter Kubusch.  Her memory will forever be cherished by her children: Maria (Chris) Kraft, Peter Denysenko, Christine Jones, Sophia Cummings, Thomas (Linda) Kubusch, Natalie McBride, Jutta (Claudio) Scott, Simon Kubusch and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Waltraud loved reading her Bible and had a passion for writing out scripture. She was an extraordinary prayer warrior and believed in God's promises. She is now resting in the hands of her Saviour. She loved to spend time with her children and enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and rocking her grandchildren to sleep.  Waltraud was a very loving and caring lady, devoted wife, amazing mother, Oma, and friend. She was always thinking of others and would help in any way she could. To know her was to love her. She was an amazing woman of God who will truly be missed.

Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051 Condolences can be forwarded to the family via the funeral home website below Waltraud’s notice.

God’s Garden

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God’s Garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, “Peace be thine.”

It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Crossways to Life. (crosswaystolife.org)
