LA FONTAINE, Catherine Anne (Millard)

In her 73rd year, Catherine passed away peacefully at her home in Guelph, surrounded by the love of her family, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Catherine was an artist who freely shared her love of painting, including teaching classes for seniors, donating art to charities, and displaying her art in local libraries for others to enjoy.
Devoted mother of Tyler (Michelle) and Laurie Hagarty. Beloved sister of Cherlyn Catteau. Cherished grandmother of Bob (Andrea), Brianna, Krystyn, Ethan, Noah, great-granddaughter Audrey, and grandbabies in heaven, Zachary, Elora, and Joseph. Catherine is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. 
The family extends their thanks to the team at Guelph General Hospital and CCAC, who made it possible for Catherine to spend her final hours at home. 

Family and friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be welcomed.
