It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother. She passed away unexpectedly May 4th, 2024, at the age of 69. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those in need.

Her endless support touched the lives of all who knew her. Illana's nurturing spirit will live on in her three children; Nicole (Nathan), Joseph (Kassandra), and Christopher (Michelle), her grandchildren; Brayden, Piper (Nick), Mya (Alessia), Brittany, Nathaniel, Olivia, Holden, Theo, Knox, and Amika.

Illana devoted her professional life to nursing, a calling she pursued with boundless empathy and care. Her commitment to helping others, even in the face of personal struggles with mental health, was a testament to her remarkable strength and resilience.

She is now with her loving parents, Hughena and Adrian Butts, and leaves behind her siblings Adrienne (the late Colin), Fulton, Gwendolyn (the late Peter), Ingrid (the late Ben), Lowell (Nancy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
