Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of 58 years to Allan Laird. Dear aunt to Rob (Flora) and their sons Alex and Marc. Sister-in-law to the late Don Laird (Faye). Janet is predeceased by her parents Harry and Isabel Robinson, and her brother Gerald Robinson.
Janet enjoyed spending time painting and cooking delicious meals for her family. She and Allan met playing in a pipe band and continued to play for many years. Janet loved to spend her summers at the cottage where she could entertain family and friends. She was a kind and caring person and could make friends with anyone she met.
At Janet’s request, no visitation or service will be held. Burial has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
