and married the love of her life, Frank, leaving her bookkeeping job and
active social life in Galt to raise their family on a farm in Puslinch.

With the exception of bookkeeping, farm life was new to Fran, but she
persevered learning cooking, canning, baking and gardening, and becoming
an active member of the local Women's Institute. Fran cherished any time
spent with her siblings and in-laws, especially the Murray Clan family
picnics she and Frank hosted on the Lake farm. After Frank's death in 1981,

Fran eventually moved to Guelph, returning to school and work. She pursued
her love of music through piano and choir, and joined the Catholic Women's
league. In retirement, Fran passed many happy years enjoying the company
of friends new and old, frequenting the performing arts, and indulging in
competitive Scrabble. Above all, she was a good mother.Fran will be
remembered for her sense of humour and her plentiful and infectious
laughter that brought cheer to all around her. We often could find mom in
a crowded room by listening for her laugh.Thank you to the caring in-home
staff at Paramed who allowed mom to live happily and independently for
many years.

Thank you to the staff of Wellington Terrace for the special
care of mom over the past year. You were unwavering in your devotion and
your quality of care even during these difficult pandemic times. We were
blessed to have mom on Walnut Grove.

A small private Funeral Mass will be said on Monday January 4th, at St
Joseph's Catholic Church, Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington
