LANGRIDGE, Peter John

Posted

Langridge MM
Peter John Langridge crossed over yesterday February 4th, 2021 at the age of 81 in his home that he loved for 45 years.

The word sad does not come close to the loss that we are feeling.  His Vascular Dementia took him away from us slowly.  This gave us a chance to care for him on his challenging journey.  He was the best Dad to us, Laura and Claire, and a loyal Husband to his wife Sue.  As a Dad, he taught us about how to be good and kind, just like he was.   He made mistakes but he tried to be everything we needed him to be. He gave us stability and was our calm in every storm.  He loved, protected, and guided us the best way he knew how. We always felt his love. He loved and he lost and then loved again. He was a loving and devoted husband for 16 years and wanted his wife to always know she was loved.

He was a kind and patient man who loved telling stories, playing his guitar, singing, dancing, listening to music, camping, fishing, drinking coffee and being around those he cared about.

He was a fun, silly and proud Grandad and loved by his four grandchildren Aaralyn, Adam, Matthew and Luke and as a Papa to Zoey and Parker.  He was enjoyed by his daughter-in-law Georgia, son-in-law Ron and stepdaughter Leah.

He will be remembered as a loyal friend, someone who would help out any way he could. Most of all, he will be remembered as a man who loved unconditionally and with his whole heart.  His passing has left a void in our lives that no one will ever fill.  He was so loved and be missed every day.

Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051.
