LEFNESKI, Janice (nee Gilbank)

Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Friday, January 15, 2021.  

 Janice was born and raised in Owen Sound, she moved to Guelph to start her career in hairdressing. She worked at Kevin’s Hair Salon. She was a wonderful and loving wife to Paul for forty years. Fondly remembered by Paul’s children, Robert Lefneski (Stephanie) and Dawn Lovie (Tom) and their children. Will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Josh, Matt, Amy and Jake. Predeceased by her brother Fred Gillbank.

Thanks to Dave and Heather Mead for all the fun trips we took together. Thanks to my mother, Joy, for the trips to Italy, France and the Netherlands to follow my father’s footsteps in World War II.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff and the 5 screeners on Level 1 at the Guelph General Hospital.

 Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051.
