Age 80, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022, at Guelph General Hospital.
She was born February 24, 1941, in Dundee, Scotland to William and Janet Thomson.
Wilma was fortunate to marry the love of her life, Peter Lennie in 1963 and have two daughters. She and her daughters immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1975 where Wilma worked for many years at Timex and made many close friends.
Wilma moved to Guelph, Ontario in 1996 where she and Peter bought their first house and she worked for the Ontario Government up until her retirement.
Wilma enjoyed meeting with friends, attending church, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Colette and Donna; and her grandchildren, Lorna, Reanna and Marco. Wilma loved her friends and neighbours deeply and was always very thankful for their support and kindness.
In light of COVID restrictions, a funeral is being delayed so that everyone who loved Wilma will be able to attend safely.
