It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Aniko Loci on August 20, 2023 surrounded by her family at the young age of 43 after a courageous battle and difficult journey.

Loving wife to Igor Stupavski. Devoted mother to Lena and Mika. Treasured daughter to Terezia and the late Istvan. Will be missed by her fur babies Luna and the late Milo. All her friends, colleagues, and extended family will miss her deeply.

Aniko had a big heart and cared deeply for the conservation of the environment. She was also passionate about helping animals in need as she was a huge animal lover. She worked for over 15 years at Royal Canin where she made lasting friendships. Aniko was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel and was always planning her next trip. She was happiest when with her daughters, who were her world. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it be conversation over a cup of coffee or at a concert seeing live music.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and PSWs at both St. Joseph’s Health Center and the Village of Riverside Glen for their kind and compassionate care.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced for the end of September. Details to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to Guelph Humane Society or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
