It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Locke (née Hill) on Sunday April 9, 2023. She passed away peacefully at Innisfree House Hospice, with her family by her side.

Loving daughter to Gordon (predeceased) and Doris Hill. Cherished mother to Vanessa Lawrie and Ashley (Brett) Danks. Beloved Nana to Evan Lawrie, Chelsea Lawrie and Brayden Danks. Survived by her siblings Michael (Tina) Hill, Bonnie (Dave) Coleman and Christine Hill. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her extended family and friends.

Denise had the biggest heart and showed her love through kindness, consideration, and selfless acts of service for others. She loved hosting tea parties, baking with the kids, woodworking, travelling, playing cards and gardening. She was most proud of her daughters and her greatest joy was spending time with her three beautiful grandchildren and creating family memories together.

Denise fought with determination and resilience during her extended battle with illness. She inspired all of those around her and will continue to do so.

We invite family and friends to attend a visitation on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Holy Cross Parish, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown. A service will be held at Holy Cross Parish at 10:30am. A reception will follow in the church hall. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

We are eternally grateful to Innisfree House Hospice for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Innisfree House Hospice are greatly appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Denise M. Locke in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
