LOCKMAN, Sylvester

Sylvester was born in Guelph on August 16th 1940

He passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, surrounded by family and friend Saturday, July 30th 2022. He was predeceased (2018) by his wife Florence Lockman (nee MacLeod) of 25 years .
Survived by his children and 7 step-children, Margaret Shaver, Jeffery Lockman (Kathy), Wayne Lockman, Angela Lockman, and Michelle Randall. He will be greatly missed by his 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings May Robinson, David Lockman and Elsie Corrigan (Bill). He will be greatly missed by his card buddy and friend Cindy Holmes. Predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Sylvester Lockman, his sister Priscilla Earley (Lockman), his brother William Lockman and son Paul Lockman.

As per Sylvester’s request, he is to be cremated and there will be a celebration of life

The family would like to thank the first responders and Doctors and nurses at the Guelph General hospital. Who treated him with great care in his last hours

The family would like to have everyone come out and celebrate his life on Sunday August 14th 2022, at the Red Chevron upstairs from 1-5 pm.

Sylvester was one of a kind, always joking with everyone, had so many stories he would tell anyone who would listen to him. He was always there to lend hand. Loved by many and will be remembered by all.
He will be buried with his wife in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia at a further date.
