Peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, September 10, 2017, in his 84th year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Lena Loree (February 2017). Adoring father of Cathy Loree Bulych (Bob Good), Peter Loree (Karyn), and the late Luke Loree (2007). Dear step-father of Sheree Sotheran (Roy), Loree Primeau (Kevin Wardrop) and Charlene Lloyd (Peter). Loved Grandpa of Matthew Johnson (Desiree), Alexandra Johnson, Jak Loree-Spacek, Luke Loree-Spacek, and step-grandchildren Shawn (Sarah), Matthew (Samantha), Aimee, and great grand-baby Charles. Predeceased by his parents, Dr. Luke Arthur and Berna Loree.
Jim positively influenced many children throughout the course of his career as a primary school teacher. After retirement, Jim enjoyed the family cottage, fishing, Blue Jay games, but most of all spending time with the love of his life, Lena, and his family.
Family and friends are invited to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph where visitation will take place on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 7-9 pm. The family will hold a private family interment and Celebration of Jim's life.
