Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Bill Lyle, in his 76th year, was the beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Moratto) Lyle. He is survived by his brothers Elmer (Marguerite) and Ronald (Sheila) and sisters Anna MacLean and Winnifred (Jack Morrell), by sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Henny, by brother-in-law Ronald Bamsey and by many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Walter and Elsie Lyle, by sisters Margaret, Marion and Martha, by brothers Walter, Albert and Alfred, by brothers-in-law Jack Hanlon, Joe MacLean and Jack Reid and by sisters-in-law Norma Lyle, Doreen Lyle and Erme Moratto and by step-son Mark Lyle.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Bill’s ashes will be interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
