Lymburner Keith MM

Committed community volunteer and former director of Torchlight Industries, died peacefully at Wellington Hospice on April 30th 2022, at the age of 74 of colon cancer. He is survived by; his wife Rhondda Lymburner (nee Oliver), son Blake and his wife Trish Lymburner of Guelph. Also, Garry Lane who was like a brother, and wife Cathie of Ancaster and family. Predeceased by his sister Arlene Lane and his brother Blake Lymburner.

Born and raised in Smithville Ontario, Keith moved to Guelph to attend University where he obtained a B.A. and a MSc.  He took up residence in Guelph where he worked at Second Chance and became Director of Torchlight Industries. He resided and gardened on a property on the Speed River for 48 years. He was actively involved in Kinsmen, Rotary, and of late, Wellington Men’s Club. Keith was an avid sports fan who enjoyed baseball and hockey. He remained a loyal fan of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Guelph Storm. He played men’s slow pitch in the summer and curled in the winter. He only wrapped his golf club around a tree once that we know of.  Keith volunteered for Developmental Services Committees, United Way, Big Brothers and many other organizations. Keith enjoyed his work on the District Health Council. He was a strong advocate for people who experience disabilities.

We expect that Keith will find a porch and a crossword on the next leg of his journey and will be greeting whoever walks by.
