December 24, 1961 – March 4, 2024
Stephen Joseph Mackie born and raised in Peterborough Ontario, at 62 years of age passed peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Krista, loving father to daughter Sara, son Patrick, and proud Papa to his granddaughter Kelly. He will be forever missed by his brother Jim (Bev), niece Kim (Amanda), great niece and nephew Kiera and Jameson. Steve is predeceased by his parents Pat and Reta.
Steve, a.k.a. “The Milkman” will be remembered as a proud and respectful man who impacted many lives with his huge heart and sense of humour. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at the Mount Pleasant Women’s Institute at 2432 Queen Mary Street in Cavan Ontario, L0A 1C0 on Saturday March 16th, 2024 from 1-4pm. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to your local Cancer Centre.
