MAGGIOLO, Maria

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Riverside Glen. Maria was predeceased by her husband Eugenio Maggiolo. She was the loving mother of Iole and her late husband Michel Millescamps of Unionville; Walter and his wife Lynda Maggiolo; and Lisa and her husband Robert Laughlin, all of Guelph. Maria was the dear nonna of four grandchildren; Francesca (David Lee) and Stephane Millescamps and Spencer and Simon Laughlin, and bisnonna to Greta and Adeline Lee. She was the dear sister of Rita Casagrande. Predeceased by her sister Elisa Basso, and her brothers Antonio, Luigi and Secondo Giacometti. Maria will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin Street N, Guelph, on Thursday, July 15, 2017 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with a funeral mass at Holy Rosary Church at 11:30 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Donation cards are available at the funeral home.
