MALIK, Dr. Henrick John

Passed away peacefully April 23, 2021 at the age of 89.
 
Beloved husband of Nancy Parveen Malik of 63 years. Dear brother of Arthur, Sheila, Jesse, Stanley, Alexander and Frederick Malik and their spouses. Predeceased by sister Shakunlta. Cherished father of Rommel, Rubina, Rowena and Rebecca and their spouses John Howard and Tony Bone and their families. Adored grandfather to granddaughters Madeline, Bianca, Zara and Sienna and grandson Devon, two great grandchildren and countless nephews and nieces.
 
Henrick will be revered and remembered fondly and with love by the many friends, family and students who knew him, over the course of a long life that took him from Pakistan to Cleveland, Ohio to Victoria, B.C. and finally Guelph, Ontario. He will be remembered for the profound impact he made on countless lives during his long career as a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics and Statistics at the University Guelph. His faith, energy and selfless nature will live on in our memories as he was a teacher, mentor and role model for all.
 
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date when gathering in person can be done safely.
