On Monday, May 9, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family, David passed away peacefully, following a long battle with health issues.
Loving husband of Nora (Hearns) for 47 years, proud Father of Leigh Salminen and Michael Marostega (Melissa) and special Nono to his grandchildren, Taylor Salminen and Brendan and Nathan Marostega. Survived by his sister Veronica Fraresso (Dino) of Guelph and his brother Gerrie Marostega of Cambridge. Brother-in-law of Doug and Linda Hearns, Donnie and Sandy Hearns and Carolanne and David Smith. He leaves behind many wonderful nieces and nephews who always laughed at his corny jokes. At David’s request there will be no funeral service.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and Guests will be received for visitation on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London ON, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
