MARTIN, Nancy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Martin on September 11th, 2022 at the age of 68.

Loving wife to Larry Bannerman for 33 years. Beloved mother to Al Martin. Cherished Grandmother/Grandma to Austin, Lauren and Summer. Dear sister of Danny (Lois) and Janette (Ron). Predeceased by her mom Doris, father George, brother Peter and sister Linda. Will be fondly remembered by all friends and extended family, especially Rita Vettor and Laurie MacDougall.

Nancy was a go-getter and a firecracker. She enjoyed her shopping and casino trips, hanging out with her friends, spending time in her garden, and riding on her husband’s Harley. She was a joy to be around. She was funny and loved joking around. She will be missed.

Thank you to Grand River Hospital and Guelph General Hospital for all you did for Nancy. Another thank you to all the nurses there as well as Dr. Natalie Needham-Nethercott, Dr. Martin and Dr. Heather Reid Rafla.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St N, Guelph. As per the family’s wishes, a private gathering will take place on Sunday September 18th, 2022 from 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lymphoma Canada or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
