It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Mascola on March 9, 2024, age 93, at St. Joseph's Health Centre.

Loving mother to Mickey and the late Gino. Proud grandmother to Patrick, Mark, Jamie and Tara. Dear sister of Josephine and Rino. Predeceased by her husband Leonard Mascola. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, all friends and extended family.

Norma devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, providing them with unconditional love, support, and guidance. Her unwavering dedication and hard work knew no bounds. Norma found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life and had a passion for baking, cooking, and gardening. She found immense fulfillment in nurturing her loved ones through delicious meals and beautiful blooms.

In addition to honoring Norma's life and legacy, her family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and medical staff of Guelph General Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre Guelph and the palliative care team who provided compassionate care and support throughout her journey. Their dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to ensuring Norma's comfort and well-being did not go unnoticed and brought solace to her and her family during difficult times.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph.
Visitation will take place on Friday March 15, 2024, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Parish, 45 Victoria Rd N, Guelph, on Saturday March 16, 2024, at 10am. Burial and reception to follow.
