Marianne’s family would like to thank her friends at Riverside Residences and her many loyal friends for their love & support. Special thanks to Reverend John Benham for his friendship and compassionate care.  We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Prime Care Pharmacy for their dedicated service.

Marianne’s caring nature is no secret through her years of service as a Registered Nurse, having graduated from the Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She worked at both Guelph General & St Joseph’s hospitals and her last 25 years was with the Victorian Order of Nurses

She was a dedicated member of the Hearing Improvement Committee of Guelph, and other community involvement at the Evergreen Seniors Centre. She looked forward to her ‘Knit ‘n Stitch’ afternoons and lunches out with her local ‘Red Hat’ Group.

Marianne was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and treasured her friends… an inspiration to us all. She was genuinely, interested in people and what was going on in their lives.

Marianne was enthusiastic, a problem- solver, with a positive outlook, a pleasant personality, with a smile that lit up the room. She had a sharp mind with an interest in modern medicine and a desire to learn that was impressive. We hold dear in our hearts all the wonderful stories that she would share.
