1922-2016
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Murray Maxwell on Tuesday March 8th.
Murray was a man devoted to his family, his friends and the Dublin St. Church Community.
He was one of the gentlest and kindest men; a loyal husband, father, and grandfather.
Murray worked for over 40 years at The Co-operators, retiring in 1989, and enjoyed travel and summers at Koshlong lake in his retirement.
Over the last several years, Murray exemplified daily devotion caring for the love of his life, Mary (nee Carruthers).
Dad quickly followed Mom and they are reunited and at peace.
Survived by and greatly missed by his children Neil, Bruce, and Drew as well as their partners and four grandchildren.
Cremation will be followed by a celebration of Murray and Mary's life.
Visitation at Dublin Street United Church, Guelph on Saturday, March 12 at 10 am with a service to follow at 11 am.
