He returned to Glasswork semi-retired until his Diagnosis in 2014 when he fully retired. Mike had many interests including; Reno projects, biking on trails, relaxing poolside with coffee & listening to his vast collection of music at varying volumes loud & louder. His sense of humour & laugh was epic as was his music passion. He had a hidden talent, After just one beat or note or word, he knew the song & artist.

Mike’s earlier happiest times were spent camping in Ontario Provincial Parks & in spectacular Alberta & B.C. or enjoying the great outdoors.
Once Grandchildren came along, it was enjoying front porch sunsets, nature on walks around the block or picnics at Moulin Parc, Marina in Rockland, On.

A private cremation identification service was held Monday, March, 14, 2022. & Cremation followed.
