Posted

McCulloch (1)
Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General
Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2021 in his 67th year. Beloved husband
of Julia (née Urbach) for 25 years and loving father of Catherine. He
was the dear brother of Louise (Joseph) Stenta and dear brother-in-law
to Barb (Gary) Van Osch. Brian will be immensely missed by his nephews
David, Matthew and Ben.
He was predeceased by his father Lloyd (1995) and his mother Julienne
(1993) ( Massicotte) McCulloch.
Brian is survived by many cousins in Quebec and Manitoba. The Massicotte
and Pallascio families of Montreal will miss him immensely, as they
loved him dearly.
Brian loved his family. He enjoyed the quiet times with family and
friends at home and around the pool. He made many wonderful memories
travelling around North and South America and Europe with his wife and
daughter. He was a voracious reader and would read 2 to 3 novels a week.
He loved riding his motorcycle. Over the years, he helped organize and
participated in many rallies in support of Micheal House. He enjoyed all
genres of music and particularly loved the Hip, Pink Floyd and Led
Zepplin.
Brian had a long career as an Architect which spanned 42 years. He was
technically strong, hard working, very creative and always eager to
solve problems and help others. He was proud of all his projects and he
loved working on all of them. The following is a list of some of his
favorite ones: Elora Heights, Acton Town Hall, Innerkip Presbyterian
Church, Arbours at Montgomery and Emmanuel Christian High School.
Brian was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He had been an
active member for 25 years and enjoyed fundraising where he could put
his diverse skills to use. He organized many memorable charitable events
over the years, but his favorite was Music of the Knight.
Brian had been a proud Rotarian. He lived the philosophy of service
above self and this could be seen in his efforts with the various events
done by the club each year. Always eager to be involved and give of
himself. Brian always went above and beyond.
