McDONALD, Nicholas Anthony

After battling cancer twice, against all odds the first time, Nick continued his “Journey to the Cure “conquering all battles set before him. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 17, 2018. He will always be remembered for his courage, his strength of character, his humour and his positive outlook on life.
Sadly missed by his Loving partner Irene Lauzon. Predeceased by Kim Lafrance. Beloved son of Stella (the late ‘Ab’) Bradley and the late Anthony (Tony) McDonald. Loving father to Mike (Ashley), Nick (Katrrian) and their mother Janine McDonald, Jason and Ryan and their mother Karen McDonald. Dear brother to the late Andy McDonald (Sharon), Paul McDonald, Theo McDonald and Liam McDonald. Proud Grandpa of Ethan, Zoey, Kayden & Sawyer. He will always be remembered as “Dad” by Jason and Melanie Firth. Nick will always be fondly remembered by his friends and family and his many friends and co-workers at Camtac Manufacturing. A Celebration of Nick’s life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Capel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 3-6pm in the Fellowship Lounge.
