Wendy passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at University Hospital in London, on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Born on June 9, 1959, Wendy Roberta McMeekin (née Howes) of Owen Sound, was in her 63rd year.
Dearly loved wife of Miles McMeekin. Loving mother of Daniel, Rebekah (Sean), Sarah (Wesley) and Mary (Andrew). Cherished grandmother of Rueben, Marcus, Dean and Landon. Dear sister of Sandra, Brenda (David) and Rob. Wendy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Roberta Howes, her sister Esme and her grandson Reed. A Memorial Service for Wendy will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 865 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Ed Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will be held at 2:30 p.m. until time of service. All attendees must wear a mask. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
