February 10, 1926 – April 7, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Greta Bertha Frieda who passed away peacefully at Riverside Glen on Friday, April 7, 2023.
She will now be reunited with her husband Frank and all of the family that left before her.
Greta enjoyed writing short stories about growing up in Germany. She was very pleased when the University of Guelph interviewed her for their program.
Greta and Frank did a lot of travelling before they settled down in a condo. There they made many friends. They loved to spend summers at the pool.
Greta leaves behind her youngest sister Orturd (Peter) of Germany.
Greta will be missed by her special friends Trudy Smit and Trudy Graham.
A service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10:30am.
Memorial contributions to the Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Greta B. F. Unternahrer in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
