Passed away peacefully, at his home in Orangeville, on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in his 65th year. Dear brother of the late Gwen Metcalf (Paul ONeill). Devoted son of the late Lloyd and the late Eleanor Metcalf of Arkell. Loved nephew of Bernice Laurenceson (the late Ken), Cliff Fitzpatrick (the late Betty), Vivian Brousseau (the late Douglas) all of Guelph; Marlene and Paul Herlihey of Ottawa; Iola and Frank MacTaggart of Mississauga; and Carol Fitzpatrick of Toronto. John will also be remembered by Doreen Metcalf (the late Albert) of Guelph, and her 5 children, and truly missed by all of his many Fitzpatrick cousins.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, Ontario, where visitation will take place Friday, March 16, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
