Paul Robert Miller passed away peacefully at age 88 years at Guelph General Hospital on May 18, 2023 surrounded by his wife Virginia and his 4 children

He is survived by his wife Virginia (nee Lago) of 64 years, his children Cathie (Wally Thompson), Mary, Paul (Tammy) and Jacqueline (Steve) Toms

His grandchildren Kayleigh (Kevin) Kennedy, Alana and Jackson, Kennedy and Baron and his 2 great grandchildren Ethan and Zoey. He so loved seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren who always brought out a sparkle in his beautiful blue eyes

He will be missed by his brothers and sisters in law and his many nieces and nephews

He was pre deceased by his father Jack and mother Anne and his brother John and sister-in-law Dawn

Paul was born and raised in Kitchener and moved to Guelph after his marriage to Virginia in 1959 and lived there the remainder of his life

He was active in his church Sacred Heart Parish and was a member of the knights of Columbus for many years

He was also active with AA group in Guelph.  he had been sober since 1987 and was very proud of that ... he also attended meetings regularly up until 2020 and proudly sponsored numerous individuals... he was nicknamed "Pepsi Paul" as his favourite drink was Pepsi ... even drinking it at breakfast time

His love of singing led him to join the Royal City Ambassadors… a barbershop group where his singing ability was able to be enjoyed by many.

when he retired after many years of working as a tool and die maker he loved his daily swim exercise classes... where he had numerous friends. 

He will be missed and remembered and loved always.  His quick wit, laughter and love of the good bad joke as well as his eternal helping hand will be remembered

Private cremation has taken place.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at the Italian Canadian Club 165 Ferguson St. Guelph.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital or to Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
