At the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2022. Doris Valeria (Hammond) Mills in her 96th year, was the beloved wife of the late Jack Mills (2006). She was the dear mother of Richard (Ruth) of Milton, Gordon (Linda) of Welland, Peter (Nicole) of Ottawa, Paul (Andrea) of Vancouver and Catherine (Arnold Nicholson) of Vancouver Island. Doris was the proud grandmother of Stewart, Scott, Rebecca and Steven and great-grandmother of 8.
Predeceased by her siblings Alan Hammond, Russell Hammond, Gordon Stark, Velma Moyer, Nora Bantock, Charles (Mac) Hammond, Joseph Hammond, Margaret Ditchfield and Dorethea Bantock. Will be fondly remembered by the late Frank Petty.
Private cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains to be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph, at a later date.
