Passed away at Hospice Wellington on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Bessie.  Proud father of Becky Bastain (Late Lorne) and the late Tom Stevenson.  Cherished grandfather of Cory (Amanda) Bastain, Kim Stevenson, Esther Schuetz (Mark), Karen Valente (Tony) and Michael Stevenson (Tammy).  Great grandfather of Rachel Schuetz, Abigail Schuetz, Dallas Valente, Magnum Valente and Tristen Stevenson.  William will also be missed by his daughter in law, Gloria Wellwood and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his brother and his sisters.  Memorial contributions to the Watch Tower Society, Hospice Wellington or the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (519-824-0031).  We invite you to leave your memories and donations online at: www.gilchristchapel.com
