Our dear father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Bruno Montin passed away on October 17, 2021 at St Joseph's Health Centre, in his 77th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Emily (nee Santoro), his parents, Pietro and Antonietta, and his brother Bruno. He is survived by his beloved children Susan Gordon and Tracy Montin-Prior (Melissa). He was the proud Nonno of Colin and Drew. Brother to Mario (Luigina), Maria Rosa (the late Vito), Marcello (Diana), Gusto (Amalia) and Rita (Angelo). Bruno will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Christine Donegan (Bob), as well as cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Australia. Born in Caselle, Italy, Bruno immigrated to Guelph in 1967. In 1973, he married Emily and in the years that followed, became a doting father and a friend to everyone he met, hosting lobster dinners for visiting family and friends, and making everything from the girls lunches to pasta, salami, and wine. Bruno had a mischievous glint in his eye and a keen sense of humour, letting you in on a joke with a wink. He could make absolutely anything out of wood and offered a helping hand to anyone in need. In recent years, Bruno spent each morning visiting and having an espresso (mixed with a few drops of wine) with his sister Maria Rosa and dear nephew Fab, then with his cousin Anna, and last with his friend Vicki.
