MORONI, Alba

Passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Wednesday December
16, 2020. Alba (Marcuzzi) Moroni in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of
the late Mario Cal (1971) and of the late Italo Moroni (2008). She was the
loving mother of Amy and her husband Angelo Sponga, Grace Szalay, Denise
and her husband Herb Hopf and step-mother of Rita and her husband Karl
Stuebner, Angela and her husband Lorne Hill, and Larry Moroni. Alba was
the proud Nonna of Diane Mathieau (Paul), Mario Sponga (Carrie), Mike
Szalay (Frances), Sheri Stone (Matt), Jason Szalay (Jaimie), Jennifer
Szalay (Andrew), Stephen Hopf (Rachael), Danielle Stasso (Darrin) Rene,
Greg, Kristina, David, Sara, Lisa, Emma and Alexander and Nonni of
Chelsey, Jessica, Jacob, Isaac, Josh, Amber, Megan, Liam, Nikolas, Koby
and Marshall. Carson, Parker, Owen, Hayden, Jazlynn, Hunter, Alyssa,
Hudson, Addison, Carter. also Survived also by many nieces and nephews in
Canada and Italy


For those who knew our mother, knew how she loved her gardens. Flowers
aplenty and her vegetable garden grew a variety of goodies which she
shared with many.
You would often she mom walking with purpose either to church or to make a
surprise visit. Mom got the opportunity to travel many places but Guelph
was her home and this is where she loved visiting her family, friends and
grandchildren.

We would also like to thank the nurses and staff at St Joseph's Health
Care for taking such good care of mom for these past 7 yrs.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099
Gordon Street, Guelph, where a Private family visitation and Funeral
Service will be held. Private entombment in Our Lady Immaculate
Mausloleum, Marymount Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be
