It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Joe Mrowca on October 29, 2022.

Beloved husband to Anna (Banasik) for 26 wonderful years. Proud father to Nicolas and Sofia. Cherished brother of Katarzyna (Andrzej), Maria (Jan), and Zofia (Edward). Predeceased by his loving parents Franciszek and Katarzyna. Treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Lovingly remembered by all of his friends and extended families.

Joe was always the life of the party and there was a reason his family had the saying “Everybody loves Joe!” He was an incredibly proud dad to his two children who saw how much he loved being a father. He was always a handy man who made his family proud by all the hard work and effort he put into renovating several homes together where he seemingly was able to make something out of nothing. Joe enjoyed his trips to Poland where he would visit his family and appreciate the beauty and culture of his homeland.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for all of the support and compassion they have received during this difficult time.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends and relatives for visitation on Friday, November 4, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and Rosary Prayers taking place at 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St, Guelph, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00am.
