It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Audrey Bernice Norris (Given) on Sunday March 22, 2020.
Wife of the late John I. Norris (1964). She is survived by her three daughters Kimberly/David Hollingsworth, Patti/Dan D’Ovidio and Lori/Randy Samson. Proud grandmother of eight; Jennifer Hollingsworth, John/Tamara (Daley) Hollingsworth, Mark/Laurie D’Ovidio, Tina/Jeremie Regert, Amy Samson/Ryan Ochocki, Joseph/Johanna Samson, Rob/Sarah Samson, David/Steph (Tilley) Samson. Her 13 great-grandchildren Garrett, Maddisan, Clariese, Hunter, Max, Henry, Danica, Gavin, George, Savannah, Jack, Taylor and Oswald.
Survived by many nieces and nephews, and four sisters-in-law (Eileen Ayers, Jacquie Norris, Lillian Given and Penny Storer).
Audrey was born on April 26, 1928 to Beatrice and Walter Given in St. John, NB. She was predeceased by her siblings Elsie, William, Winnifred, Walter, Robert, Nancy, Donald, Jack and David.
A private family service will held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph (519-822-0051).
For those who wish, donations in memory of Audrey can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Audrey B. Norris in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
