It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean O’Brien.
She is survived, and greatly missed, by her husband of 66 years Patrick O’Brien, her son David, and her grandchildren Ashleigh (Matthew), Matthew (Cassandra), and Kyle.
She was predeceased by her daughter (Donna), her daughter-in-law (Christine), her brother (John), and her brother-in-law (Alan).
Jean worked at Sears Canada in Guelph for many years and was an integral part of their team prior to her retirement. She was also an active member of the family at The Church of the Apostles (St. James and St. Matthias), Guelph. Jean adored being a part of this community and it was here she was able to share her passion for being involved in the Mothers’ Union and for singing with the choir.
A small service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at The Church of the Apostles (St. James and St. Matthias), Guelph.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be greatly appreciated.
