OLAH, Jozsef (Joseph)

Passed away peacefully, at Hospice Wellington, on Saturday, October 27, 2018. 

Jozsef, beloved husband for 61 years to Piroska. He was the loving son-in-law of Krisztina, and beloved father of Zoltan (Erika) and Aniko (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Christine and Kinga and great-grandfather of Cole and Mikaela. He is survived by his sister Terez and her family in Hungary.

Jozsef and Piroska immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1957 to start a new life. Shortly arriving in Canada he started working at Imperial Tobacco, was an active member of the Kossuth Hungarian Canadian Club and an avid lover of the outdoors. 

Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., N., on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. A service to commemorate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
