OVERLAND, Gordon Roy

Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Hospice Wellington on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Judy (nee McGarry) for 20 wonderful years. Loving Dad to Darlene Nadvornik (Milosh R.), Deanna Overland, Paul, Greg (Kelly), Kevin (Claire), Dean (Lea Anne) and Nikki (Dave). Cherished Grandpa of Ally, Katrina, Milosh G.D., Jonathan, Ryan, Michael, Katie, Kayla, Angela, Madeleine, Holly, Quinn, Ella, Josh and Ryan. He is survived by his sister Jean Colwill of Belleville, ON. Predeceased by his brothers Donald Overland, Fred Overland and by his sister Estella Mason. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be especially missed by his nephew Jim Overland. Gord was passionate with volunteering his free time to the Ponsonby Baseball Association and was a past employee representative with W.C. Woods. He also presided as part of the Board of Directors for the Silvercreek Condo Association. 

Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 12 noon till 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow in our Hart Chapel. A private family interment will be held at a later time. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
