Bert was born August 28, 1924 in Hanover, Ontario. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Hospice Wellington on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Mary Paterson on February 14, 2013. Loving father of Bruce and his wife Lee and of Nancy and her husband Rob Hingston. Cherished and Silly Papa of Nicole and Victoria Hingston. Bert is survived by his sister May Avery. Predeceased by his brothers George and Johnny. Special thanks to the volunteers and staff at Hospice Wellington for their kind and compassionate daily care they provided for Dad.
