PAVIA, Joseph

Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, February 16, 2020, with is family and partner in life, Rose Vaccaro by his side. Joseph Carmel Pavia formerly of Guelph and Malta at the age of 71 years. Loving father of Mike Pavia, Paula Pavia, Trevor (Amy) Connors and Jeff (Kady Terpstra) Connors. Adored Nannu of Jamie Pavia, Austin Connors, Owen Pavia, Holly Connors, Sydney Garceau and Gwenevieve Connors. Fondly remembered by his siblings: John (Jannitte Pavia), Mario (Margaret) Pavia, Rita (Spiro) Panopoulos and Marthese (Tom) Doener. Loving treasured by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita Pavia (nee Fenech); his wife Judy Anne Pavia and daughter Jennifer Leah Ann Pavia. Joseph will be fondly remembered for his gentle and kind soul and for his love of sports especially soccer. Cremation has taken place.

The family will host a celebration of life in the reception lounge at Gilbert MacIntyre & Sons Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Blood Services or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
