Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, March 2, 2024 in her 91st year.
Loving mother of Linda MacLean, Judy Riddell, Dennis Dobberthien (Susie), David Dobberthien (Lois), Cindy Meyers, Doris Dobberthien, Donald Dobberthien, Cathy Thomlinson (Wayne). Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family (Stahlbaum). Predeceased by her son William Dobberthien, grandson Jeffrey Chartrand, granddaughter Danielle Dobberthien, son-in-law Lorne Riddell and her husband Sheldon Pembelton. Shirley was a long-time member of the Red Chev.
Friends will be received at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 12:00-1:00pm. Funeral service will directly follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Following the interment, all are welcome for a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home Family Reception Centre.
