It is with great sadness that the family announces Karen Peoples sudden passing at 36 years old on June 1, 2019. Beloved wife of 11 years to Dan, loving mother of Tessa and Jake. Dearly loved daughter of George and Liz Najbert. Loving sister of Ken Najbert (Patti) and son Noah, Kathy Carter (Brian) and their children Trinaty, Nathan and Jaela. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of Rita Posonski. Loving sister-in-law of Jason Peoples and his son Kaidan. Karen will be sadly missed by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Karen was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Youngstown University in Ohio, majoring in Law Enforcement on a Tennis Scholarship. She graduated from the Police Academy and became an Ontario Provincial Police Officer. Funeral Service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Friday, June 7th, 2019 at 2:00pm, with visitation from 12:00pm. Donations in Karen`s memory can be directed to the Homewood Health Centre in Guelph, Ontario.
