Amazing Grandfather to Joseph, Caleb, Heather, Peter, Brandon, Brad, Josh, Graydon, Bronwyn, Jordan. Survived by his great grandchildren and by his many friends, neighbours and family.

Cliff was very loved and cherished by many. He was always ready to lend a hand. He was an avid historian and was an expert on Guelph history as well as world affairs. He always took time to listen and had stories to entertain us all. He enjoyed where he lived, loved gardening and reading. He began his working life at Lelands and later worked at Camco repairing appliances and as a driver for Cullen’s in his later years. He loved to be on the road. He loved taking different routes and seeing places and meeting new people. He was an adventurer at heart. He loved listening to Willie Nelson.

At Cliff’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place in the summer with details to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

He will be forever missed and is deeply loved. We cherish our memories with him.

A tree will be planted in memory of Clifford Pettifer in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
