PHILLIPS, Betty Irene

Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace on October 1, 2022, with her family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of Harry for 57 years. Loving mother to Robert Brian Phillips (Sandra), Kenneth Wayne Phillips (Deb), and Richard Owen Phillips (Leanne). Cherished Grandma to Quintin, Rachelle, Julia, Erika, Kyle, Taylor, and Jackson. Betty was predeceased by her father John "Jack" Thomas Glendenning (August 1983), her mother Anna Eva Glendenning (February 1991), and her brother William James Glendenning (August 2022). Survived by her brother Gary Ritchie (Gail), sister Joan Stewart (Doug), and sister Nancy Gilbert (Fred).

Her strong faith allowed Betty to move on to the next chapter, free of pain and limitations. Betty will be greatly missed by family but never forgotten.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, October 5th 2022 from 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place at Calvary Baptist Church on Thursday, October 6th at 12pm, with visitation prior from 11am-12pm. As per Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place. Reception to follow at the church.
