PHILLIPS, Edna

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Hospice Wellington, on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Predeceased by her first husband Bill Hamilton. Edna found love again and is survived by her beloved husband Alex Phillips. Loving mother of Julie Painting (Paul) and Bill Hamilton (Christie), and step-mother of Chris Phillips (Debbie), Gary Phillips and Donna Dechert (Steve). Proud Nana of Hannah, Maggie, Isaac, Liam, Jade, Jodey, Jesseca, and Lisa. Edna will be missed by her brother Reg Lacroix (Joan). She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Marguerite Lacroix, her brother Richard and her sister-in-law Shirley. 
A special thank you to the staff at Hospice Wellington for the kindness and compassion they showed towards Edna and our family. 
Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. A private family interment will follow at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkwood Gardens Building Fund or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by Edna’s family.
